Food Plant: Luzula sylvatica (Great wood-rush)

Mine: September - June

Notes: The mine formed is long, inflated and puckers the leaf surface. The larva often swaps leaves.

Occurs in South West England, from Monmouthshire in Wales and the East of Scotland. Mines found on Luzula pilosa will probably be E.tengstromi.
