Food Plant: Conium maculatum (Hemlock), Smyrnium olusatrum (Alexanders) Elsewhere: Pastinaca sativa (Parsnip0 Mine: August-May Notes: Initially feeds on the seeds until the autumn. It then enters the stem, usually in the upper part, to hibernate and can congregate gregariously, with up to 20 larvae being found in a stem.
