Mine: August-May

Notes: Initially feeds on the seeds until the autumn. It then enters the stem, usually in the upper part, to hibernate and can congregate gregariously (as shown, in a stem of Conium maculatum (Hemlock)), with up to 20 larvae being found in a stem.
