Food Plant: Betula (Birch)

Mine: late summer.

Pupa: Outside the mine.

Notes: A blotch mine, usually starting in the centre of the leaf and running towards the edge (as shown). The larva has short feet and dark markings on the prosternum and two spots on the meso- and meta-sternum.
