Food Plant: Betula (Birch)

Mine: late summer.

Pupa: Outside the mine.

Notes: A blotch mine, usually starting in the centre of the leaf and running towards the edge . The larva has short feet and dark markings on the prosternum (not fully developed in the larva above) and two spots on the meso- and meta-sternum (as illustrated)
