Food Plant: Betula (Birch)

Mine: late summer.

Pupa: Outside the mine.

Notes: A blotch mine, usually starting in the centre of the leaf and running towards the edge - though not in the case of this mine! The larva has short feet and dark markings on the prosternum and two spots on the meso- and meta-sternum.
