Food Plant: Populus tremula (Aspen)

Mine: early Summer (May-July)

Notes: An uncommon miner. Makes large reddish-brown mines, which can occupy the leaf. Frass is ejected from the mine by the larva.

The anal ring is pale in colour and has small denticulations (as shown above)
