Food Plant: Populus tremula (Aspen)

Mine: early Summer (May-July)

Notes: An uncommon miner. Makes large reddish-brown mines, which can occupy the leaf. Frass is ejected from the mine by the larva. The larva is shown in a pupal disc. The mine is on Populus x canadensis
