Food Plant: Populus species eg P.tremula (Aspen), P.nigra (Black Poplar) Mine: Bivoltine: early summer and early autumn Pupa: Outside the mine Notes: A long winding lower surface gallery; the mine shown is tenanted.The mine of A.populi is similar, but the pupation is in the mine in this species.
