Food Plant: Populus alba (White Poplar), P.nigra (Black Poplar), P.tremula (Aspen), Salix repens (Creeping Willow)

Mine: early & late Summer

Notes: Forms a large greenish blotch mine which turns brown. The yellow larvae leave the mine to pupate and form a yellow to reddish-brown puparium (as shown). The larvae feed communally and were examined to distinguish them from Zeugophora spp. and Leucoptera sinuella.
