Food Plant: Dactylis glomerata (Cocks-foot grass), Brachypodium sylvaticum (False Brome) Egg: laid on the leaf Mine: October-May Notes: Initially the autumn mine is long and semi-transparent. After winter it prefers leaves laying on the ground and makes Phyllonorvcter like blister mines with frass packed into the tip of the mine, which then shrivels and twists.
