Food Plant: Populus (Poplar); Salix (Willow) spp. Egg: Underside of leaf, next to a vein Mine: July-September Pupa: Beneath a silken membrane on underside of leaf (shown at top of leaf) Notes: Initially a lower epidermal gallery which leads to a blotch at the leaf-edge.
