Food Plant: Trifolium pratense (Red Clover)

Mine: July - September (then overwintering)

Notes: The young larva feeds on the green seeds and only forms the case (above) in the forth instar. the case is 6mm log and turns red-brown (as shown). Larva above were first seen on 01.vii.2007
