Food Plant: Aster tripolium (Sea Aster) Mine: unknown Notes: The larva feeds and pupariates internally within the stem. The puparium is an orange brown colour (as shown). The anterior spiracles have a small central horn, each with 14-18 bulbs arranged around this. Probably a widespread miner. The adult was bred to confirm identity.
