Food Plant: Quercus (Oak), Castanea (Sweet Chestnut)

Egg: Upper side of leaf

Mine: September - November

Notes: A whitish blotch on upper side of leaf. As the mine ages it can become a very pale brown colour (as shown). Note also the mine of Bucculatrix ulmella just beneath the midrib and to the right.
