Food Plant: Food Plant: Fagus (Beech) Egg: Underside of leaf Mine: June - July, end August - October Notes: A Gallery completely without coiled frass, egg on underside against mid-rib amongst hairs in angle with vein (this distinguishes it from S.hemargyrella, which has the egg away from the midrib.)
