Food Plant: Betula (Birch)

Egg: Usually underside of leaf

Mine: July - October

Notes: The frass isbrown and in arcs, with narrow clear margins (unlike S.continuella where the green frass completely fills the gallery). The larva is yellow, brown head, and dark ventral spots.
