Food Plant: Salix - smooth leaved varieties (Willow), S.fragilis, S.alba, S.viminalis, S.babylonica, S.purpurea, S.pentandra      

Egg: Either side of the leaf

Mine: June - July, September - October 

Notes: An early gallery filled with frass, later leaving clear margins, finally a blotch. Larva amber, head and faint ventral spots, brown. Mine on Salix babylonica.
