Food Plant: Cytisus/Sarothamnus (Broom)

Mine: September - May

Notes: Forms an inflated mine in the green bark of a twig, 15 - 25mm long. The mine turns brown/grey and is found near to the end of a twig, often on a small plant. The cremaster is shown here and has two sets of small, curved spines which protrude in different planes. (3 of the spines are seen here)
