Food Plant: Quercus (Oak) Mine: July, September - October Notes: The mine is medium (>10mm) or large, single crease in lower epidermis. The frass surrounds cocoon in summer, but in U-shaped lining in autumn. The cremaster is shown above. It has two oter thin hooked spines. Note also the spines on the dorsal surface which project rearwards.
