Food Plant: Crataegus (Hawthorn), Pyrus spp. (Pear), Cydonia vulgaris (Quince) Mine: July, September - October Notes: The mine is often in the lobe of the leaf. There are many creases in lower epidermis, which is strongly contracted, causing lobe or leaf-edge to fold over. The pupal crermaster has four curved spines; the outer pair being thicker (as shown).
