Food Plant: Pyracantha (Firethorn), Crataegus (Hawthorn), Malus (Apple), Sorbus (Rowan/Whitebeam)

Mine: July, October - April

Notes: The mine is upper side and silvery, over the midrib. Leaf later may fold upwards, concealing the mine. The larva in the autumn generation over winters in the mine. The paupal cremaster has four curved spines - the outer pair facing in a different direction to the inner pair
