initial blotch contorts the leaf strongly

Food Plant: Prunus spinosa (Blackthorn), P.domestica (Wild Plum).

Egg: Underside of leaf

Mine: June-July, August-October

Pupa: In a cocoon in folded leaf-margin.

Notes: Initially a lower epidermal gallery leading to a grey or whitish blotch which contorts the leaf strongly (lower right above). Then at least two folds on the leaf margin, consuming the upper epidermis(one fold shown top middle above). Larva grey with black rings on legs.
