Food Plant: Pinus sylvestris (Scots Pine), Pinus radiata (Monterey Pine) Mine: April - May Pupa: In a white cocoon between spun needles. The diagnotic feature for this species is shown from the scabrous plates (at the anal end of the pupa) above. These protuberances are shown in dorsal, lateral and then ventral view.
