Food Plant: Pinus sylvestris (Scots Pine), Pinus radiata

Pupa: In a white cocoon between spun needles. Exuviae are seen above.Tthe bottom photo shows the reticulate pupal surface.

Notes: The larva feeds within the needle from the tip to base.
