Food Plant: Epilobium angustifolium (Rosebay Willowherb)

Egg: Upper side of a leaf, close to the midrib

Mine: June - July, September

Pupa: On the ground amongst detritus. The cocoon is shown above

Notes: A narrow gallery, often following the midrib, occasionally tinged red at the edges. This leads to a yellowish blotch containing dispersed frass.
