Notes: A distinctive blotch mine is produced, then the larva falls to the ground inside a case made from the cut-out. The photo above shows case being made, with some already having formed cut outs. Gooseberry was discovered as a new host, as shown with a view of cut outs forming on the lower leaf surface, after barcoding the larvae.(McKenna, 2024)
