Food Plant: Betula (Birch), Carpinus (Hornbeam), Corylus (Hazel), Malus (Apple) and other deciduous trees. Mine: May-June Notes: A distinctive blotch mine is produced, then the larva falls to the ground inside a case made from the cut-out.
