Notes: The initial mine is towards the leaf tip but then it changes direction to form an elongated blotch, which may occupy half the width of a leaf. The greenish or grey frass mostly is found in the early part of the mine. The mine is yellow white to grey. Found in wet bogs or on acid heaths. A mine in the field on Carex acutiformis. Adult reared.
