Notes: The initial mine is towards the leaf tip but then it changes direction to form an elongated blotch, which may occupy half the width of a leaf. The greenish or grey frass mostly is found in the early part of the mine. The mine is yellow white to grey. Found in wet bogs or on acid heaths. Mine in the field on Greater Pond Sedge, adult reared and ID confirmed via gen det by Peter Hall.
