Notes: The initial mine is towards the leaf tip but then it changes direction to form an elongated blotch, which may occupy half the width of a leaf. The greenish or grey frass mostly is found in the early part of the mine. The mine is yellow white to grey. Found in wet bogs or on acid heaths. Mature larva in mine on Greater Pond Sedge, larvae are initially yellow, darkening to grey as they grow. Adults reared, emerged 05.vi.2022, and ID confirmed via gen det by Peter Hall.
