Notes: The early gallery starts in the centre of the leaf. It is a linear track which widens to a large blotch at the leaf edge, with frass in long threads. The head is pale on the larva and there are lateral projections on the first abdominal segment (seen above best on the bottom photo, which is the ventral view of the larva).
