Egg: Upper surface of the leaf

Mine: July, September - March

Notes: A gallery leading to whitish blotch. The larva from the autumn generation (illustrated) feed throughout the winter. Pupation occurs inside the mine. Mines in shaded places can be large. Fauna Europaea name: Coptotriche marginea
