Egg: on the wing of a samara

Mine: June, August - September, October

Notes: The larva feeds on buds in the spring. In the Summer it feeds on seeds and the gallery can be seen in a samara. The summer generation cocoon is formed on the samara (as shown) or a leaf. The autumn generation hibernates and forms a cocoon on the trunk.
