Egg: on upper half of leaf blade Mine: Autumn-June Notes: Generally
the mine is the full width of the leaf and extends from the leaf tip.
It is white and the frass is scattered. Usually found in sheltered
habitats. Mine shown on Deschampsia
cespitosa (Tufted Hair-grass). This larva made a long, thing
initial gallery with greenish frass, before broadening into a wider
gallery with blackish frass. Adult reared to confirm ID (emerged 05.vi.2022)
