Food Plant: Festuca rubra (Red Fescue) Mine: September-November;June-July Notes: The mine starts close to the base of the leaf and widens as it progresses upwards., finally occupying the width of the leaf. The initial mine is whitish and it becomes a whitish-yellow in oits final stages. Found in coastal regions and calcareous grasslands. It also occurs on coastal cliffs and maritime heaths.
