Food Plant: Melilotus altissima (Tall Melilot) or Melilotus oficinalis (Ribbed Melilot)

Mine: July - May

Notes: It makes the case from seedpods and up to three pods may be joined together. The final case is trivalved and black in colour. The cases were found on Melilot in scrub ground by the side of a main road.
