Food Plant: Melilotus altissima (Tall Melilot) or Melilotus oficinalis (Ribbed Melilot)

Egg: laid on the flower

Mine: July - May

Notes: It makes the case from seedpods and up to three pods may be joined together. The final case is trivalved and black in colour. The larva has a brown head and blackish-brown thoracic plates (as shown).
