Food Plant: Salicornia (Glasswort)

Mine: September to October.

Notes:Larva feeds internally on seeds and fleshy spikes. A case is formed from the tip of a spike, and feeding continues for a short time on other spikes. The larva is infrequently seen, but the images here show it after it has emerged from its case, before it burrows into the mud for the winter.
