Food Plant: Acer pseudoplatanus (Sycamore) Egg: Underside of leaf, usually near midrib Mine: June-July Pupa: In a yellowish cocoon on underside of leaf Notes: At first in a very small triangular whitish blotch in the angle between veins. Then forms three progressively larger cones at the tip of a leaf lobe; sometimes all in the same leaf. The early mine and first cone are shown.
