Mine: May-July;August-September

Pupa: In the final leaf roll made by the larva

Notes: The inital mine leads to a Phyllonorycter blotch on the undersuface of the leaf. The larva (as shown) then rolls the edge of the leaf, making two or more rolls. The pupae (as shown) pupate in a white cocoon. Specimens from Rumex acetosa (Sorrel).
