Food Plant: Cirsium arvense (Creeping Thistle) or other Thistles.

Mine: August to October, with some larvae feeding again in the spring.

Notes: Larva mines leaves. The case is extended with ventral and lateral gussets, which are paler, the case appearing streaked. The full-grown case is 12mm long.
