Food Plant: Phragmites australis (Common Reed), Phalaris arundinacea (Reed Canary-grass), Anthoxanthum odoratum(Sweet Vernal-grass), Milium spp. (Millet), Hierochloe (Holy-grass) Mine: August-May Notes: Makes long narrow galleries. The frass is distributed through the mine and also some is ejected. The larvae may mine more than one leaf. Found mostly in Southern England.
