Notes: The upper parenchyma of the leaf is eaten and the leaf becomes skeletonized as the green parts are eaten, leaving the veins. The larvae feed under a slight silken web (as shown) and the leaf may contract as this occurs. Pupation is in a tough white cocoon away from the feeding. A recent colonist to the UK.
