Notes: Feeds on the seeds and then later moves to the stem to pupate, where it fixes itself. The case is 7-8mm long, being narrow, tubular and trivalved. Found in the Norfolk Broads, the coastal marshes of Suffolk and also in Co.Durham and East Sussex and Kent. Langdon (2024) discovered R.crispus as another host for this species. Habitat where small numbers of larval cases were found feeding on Rumex hydrolapathum.
