Food Plant: Salix myrsinifolia (dark-leaved Willow), S.phylicifolia (tea-leaved Willow), possibly other Salix species Egg: laid under the leaf Mine: July-August Notes: A rare montane species. First discovered in Scotland in 1983. Feeds initially in an epidermal mine then folds the leaf down into a pod. A larva is shown on Salix myrsinifolia (dark-leaved Willow).
