Food Plant: Polyphagous on a wide variety of herbaceous plants such as Cynoglossum germanicum (Green Hound's-tongue), Fragaria (Strawberry), Lathyrus, Leucanthemum vulgare (Ox-eye Daisy), Phaseolus (Bean), Picea sitchensis (Sikta Spruce), Pisum (Pea), Plantago (Plantain), Ranunculus, Rubus idaeus (Raspberry), Rumex (dock ), Salix triandra (Almond Willow),Teucrium, Viburnum lantana (Wayfaring Tree)

Mine: Sept-June

Notes: Initially mines a leaf then, after hibernation, lives between spun leaves or flowers. Pupates in a folded leaf or in detritus on the ground. The larva is shown from Teucrium sordidiana.
