Food Plant: Achillea millefolium (Yarrow) Egg: Upper side of leaf Mine: April - May; July Notes: Initially mines the leaf then feeds externally on the upper surface of the leaf. The leaves then whiten and shrivel, which can be taken as indicators of the presence of the larvae. The pure-white cocoon is shown, spun on the foodplant. It may also be on adjacent herbiage.
