Food Plant: Crataegus (Hawthorn), Malus (Apple), Pyrus (Pear), Sorbus (Whitebeam/Rowan).

Egg: Upper surface of leaf

Mine: July -August

Notes: A short contorted gallery, near midrib or side-vein. The cocoon (above) is usually formed on debris. The one illustrated is 8mm long.
