Pupa: In a cocoon inside one end of the mine

Notes: Early mine a silvery gallery in lower epidermis. Subsequently a blotch on the upper epidermis. Internal spinning causes the leaf to pucker and often fold over the blotch, concealing it. The puparium is in a cocoon attached at the top and the adult exits through a hole at this attachment.
